MANUAL 1 : Particulars of Organization, Functions and Duties

Sri Aurobindo college (E) is a constituent college of University of Delhi and has been serving the cause of conventional education since 1984. It makes a small beginning in a great change in the field of higher education making it more meaningful and diversified. Through this experiment, we seek to break new ground by bridging the gap between static university education and social environment.
Apart from academic excellence, the College lays an extra emphasis on the development of integrated and well rounded personalities of the students. Discipline and sincerity are the hall marks of this institution. Our alumni holding their positions in life with responsibility, zeal and courage of conviction vindicate our faith in the goals before us. The College offers instructions in the following courses in accordance with the regulations laid down by the University of Delhi.
To enable the learner to acquire intellectual skills and knowledge in a vocational field as well as other complementary inter-disciplinary subjects that give the student an advantage in her/his chosen vocation.
The College is located at Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017. It is constituent College of the University of Delhi, established in 1984. It is multi faculty, co-educational College, having at present approximately 1300 students on its roll in various courses.
The College imparts instruction and training in the following courses :
B.A.(Hons.)Applied Psychology.
B.A. Programme
B.A. (Hons)Hindi

Expectation of the College from the public for enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency :
The College expects objective and considered support from citizens of Delhi as well as persons directly associated with the affairs of the College and the University of Delhi.
Arrangements and methods made for seeking public participation / contribution :
Public involvement in the affairs of the College is through nomination of people from various walks of public life on its Governing Body as per provisions of Delhi University Act, 1922.
Mechanism available for monitoring the service, delivery and public grievance resolution :
Management of the various activities of the College is supervised by the Principal through? committees constituted by staff council. Monitoring of the affairs of the College is through its Governing Body, Academic Council & Executive Council of the University of Delhi.
